After abandoning his cringeworthy Snoop Lion moniker, Snoop has returned to just plain old ‘Snoop Dogg’ once again in preparation for his (reported) final studio album BUSH. We got the first track ‘Peaches N Cream’ from the album last month, and now we’ve got ‘So Many Pros’ – both tracks we’re produced by Pharrell.
The video (below) puts Snoop into many different 70s blaxploitation movie posters, there’s plenty of huge afros, retro designs, and, of course, Snoop himself taking on many fictional movie roles throughout the clip. The video is directed by Francois Rousselet, who has previously worked with Kanye West & Jack White and is responsible for my favourite music video of all time for Justice’s ‘D.A.N.C.E’.
