HARDCORE – The World’s First POV Action Film

Last year Director Ilya Naishuller directed a music video for (his band) Biting Elbows’ latest track ‘Bad Motherfucker’ and it became a huge viral hit. Why? Because it was so insanely awesome! The video was a completely first person mini action epic shot from the point of view of a prisoner fighting to escape an evil corporation, if you haven’t seen it, check it out here.

After over 23 million views online and a heap of critical acclaim, Naishuller decided it was time to expand the concept and create a full feature in the same style – an entire movie that looks like a video game.

HARDCORE is a modern, action Sci-Fi story told through the eyes of Henry, a newly resurrected cyborg fighting to save his wife & creator Estelle from the clutches of a psychotic tyrant with telekinetic powers and his army of mercenaries. Fighting alongside Henry is Jimmy (Sharlto Copley – District 9, Elysium), and Henry’s only hope of making it through the day. HARDCORE takes place over the course of one day in Moscow and the entire movie is seen from the point of view of the protagonist.

It’s hard to describe just how good the film looks, so check out the preview video below and for more info and to support the team behind it, head to their INDIE GOGO PAGE.
