No Man’s Sky is a retro-inspired science-fiction game about exploration and survival in an infinite procedurally generated universe. It wowed audiences at this weeks E3 conference, when the gameplay was debuted during Sony’s Conference.
The game promises a truly open universe, whether it’s a distant mountain or a planet hanging low on the horizon, you can go apparently go there. You can fly seamlessly from the surface of a planet to another, and every star in the sky is a sun that you can visit. Where you’ll go and how fast you’ll make your way through this universe is up to you. It’s yours for the taking.
Think of like an infinite next gen Minecraft, but with less of a focus on creation and more on exploration.
There’s currently no word on what platforms it will appear, other than PS4, but at the same time, no one is saying its exclusive to PS4…so…take that for what you will.
