We do love a good time lapse video here at Faux, infact one our most viewed posts ever is this epic time lapse of the earth. So we were incredibly excited to discover this new footage from Vimeo user Nicholas Buer.

This film follows the ancient cycle of sunset, to night, to sunrise. A continuous loop of perpetual movement that has been unbroken since the dawn of time, all focused on the Milky Way. The film was shot over 12 days around the San Pedro de Atacama region of Northern Chile, which is known for its incredibly clear night sky.

Check it out below and for more of Buer’s work head to his VIMEO.
