The First Official Music Video For Bob Dylan’s ‘Like A Rolling Stone’ Is Genius

Nearly 50 years after its release, Bob Dylan’s classic track ‘Like a Rolling Stone’ has finally got an official music video, and it’s bloody awesome! It’s an interactive video that lets you switch through channels on a tv app and watch various personalities such as Drew Carey on The Price Is Right, Marc Maron, some scholars on the history channel and the dudes from Pawn Stars lip-syncing to the 1965 recording of the song. By far the best channel is watching Danny Brown on the ‘Music1 Bass’ show shouting the lyrics out as he struts around (what I presume is…) Detroit.

Although it’s a little gimmicky, the execution is flawless and the song finally has a fitting visual accompaniment – it was definitely worth the wait.

Check it out below, whilst the video is playing use either the controls on the side or the up/down arrows on your keyboard to change the channels.
