Eastpak: Floid & Talor

In 2012 Eastpak are pushing out an impressive array of new products and one of the most note-worthy is the revamp of their ‘laptop backpack’ range.

Led by the Floid pack – a perfectly formed, pouch/compartment stacked, heavy duty backpack built from the ground up to house the modern travellers laptop and cable selection.

I’ve been using the pack for two weeks now and cannot sing it’s praises high enough, the compression straps and thick padding keep everything safe, cables fit in neatly and the array of magazines and sketchbooks that follow me around snuggly settle in the remaining space. But… this thing isn’t large, it’s a tardis when you stuff everything in, making the most of segregated compartments to keep you organised.

Accompanying me on my travels is usually my Ipad and another addition to the 2012 Eastpak range has been their Ipad cases. I’ve been using the Talor case – a snug fitting case that also acts as a holder whilst in use. It’s far from perfect as a holder due to the elastic straps that keep it in place crossing over the screen corners, but still outshines the majority of cases on the market.
