Konami has just unveiled the next entry in the Metal Gear franchise. Rumoured to be a prologue, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes will be the first title in the series to feature an open-world environment. It’s built on their new FOX graphics engine and is currently slated to be released in 2013 on both the PS3 & Xbox 360, but given the graphics in the debut video and the long wait until release, dont be surprised if this doesn’t get held off until the (next) next-gen consoles – PS4 & Xbox 720 n’ such.
