About Cherry follows the cliche story of ‘girl needs money, does porn, finds out it’s not a great industry to be in’ – except this time the marquee contains the names James Franco, Heather Graham, Dev Patell & Ashley Hinshaw.
It’s the directorial debut of Stephen Elliot, editor of therumpus.net & author of The Adderall Diaries. It was also co-written by real-life porn actress Lorelei Lee who loosely based the featured porn company on kink.com – a SF based fetish site that has attracted a great deal of attention over the last few years.
