Fancy reading the entire 26 year history of a magazine? Well your in luck, SPIN magazine have just published their back catalogue from 1985 to 2011 on Google Books.
SPIN was founded in 1985 with an ethos to tell the stories behind the worlds most fascinating trends, scenes, and artists while spotlighting the iconic music of the present and past. Aspirational not elitist, enthusiastic yet discerning.
It’s sort of a win-lose situation though, on one hand we get to read through through the entire back catalogue of a historical magazine. On the other, massive layoffs were announced at SPIN today and it announced that the September issue will be the last on newsstands. More info here.
