Way back in the early 90′s just as Mr Scruff was making a name for himself as the crate digging analogue enthusiast we know him to be today, he released only 20 copies of this Hip Hop mixtape. Below is one side of the mix tape (the edit side) that was sold in Manchester’s Funky Banana record shop in 1992. Created with only 2 decks, a mixer & pause button edits on a cassette deck.
He stuck it online about a year ago for the world to hear, but we thought it was high time to revisit it – because the suns out and this is THE perfect soundtrack to a lazy Monday night in the sun.
