Having spent the past few years building a huge reputation on the Leeds club scene, the people behind Mint Club and Mint Warehouse are ready to take things to the next stage with the first ever Mint Festival this September.
In the slightly unusual setting of Lotherton Hall, known locally for its Edwardian architecture and aviary, Mint Festival will bring together 10,000 people in four stages of electronic music. The line-up boasts a diverse array of the biggest DJs and live acts in house, techno, disco, drum and bass and mainstream dance.
On the Bigger than Barry / Jungle Jam stage, drum and bass will be the order of the day with appearances from Coki, Drumsound & Bassline Smith, Hype + IC3, Joker and Sigma. Eddie Halliwell and Michael Woods head the bill at the BITCH tent and Surgeon, Adam Beyer and Ben Klock will be entertaining at the Black Light stage.
The biggest names of all, however, are reserved for the System & Flux Stage headlined by Wolf & Lamb. Two of the darlings of contemporary house, Seth Troxler and Jamie Jones, will also be appearing alongside Boston producers and DJs Soul Clap.
