One of the most vague labelling terms tossed around, ‘Hipster’ is often used to describe the type of young self-indulgent, ‘cool’ obsessed, fashion impaired creative types who tend reside in many of NYC’s ‘cool’ boroughs. Most often used as an insult and not usually a self descriptive term, Hipster’s tend to be in denial about the way others perceive their look & attitude. Which in turn makes it one of the more interesting questions to walk around and ask people.
