Hailing from Bergen County, New Jersey, childhood friends Brian Sella and Mathew Uychich formed The Front Bottoms after nearly a decade of friendship and musical exploration. With a sound thats hard to place they incorporate simplistic drum patterns and a driving acoustic rhythm alongside scattered song structuring to form their unique brand of punk influenced pop. Despite their less than stellar band name, the boys have made a huge splash in their hometown Jersey Tri-state area and impressed at this years SXSW – landing firmly on the radars of legions of fans across the US.
They’ve just dropped the video for their latest single ‘Looking Like You Just Woke Up’ the lead single from their self titled debut album, which is out now on Bar/None Records.
