Did you ever want to work at Disney? No? Me neither, I dont think I could smile and joyfully skip from task to task all day – I’m pretty sure that’d be company mandated behaviour.
Well Brain Pickings have recently published this scan of a Disney company handbook from 1943. ‘The Ropes at Disney’ was crafted by their personell department to show employees how to behave and all those procedures that you were to strictly adhere too, whilst having fun – because of course no matter how strict the rules, they’re still a fun employer who make all dreams come true.
