From director Roger Gastman comes Wall Writers – a documentary on graffiti in its innocence.
Through unprecedented access to TAKI 183, CORNBREAD, and a host of other legendary graffiti writers, Wall Writers tells the story of a time when it was all about tags and getting your name out there. Where kids took a paint can and filled their time, by making themselves infamous as they mastered the art of self-promotion.
Told through first hand accounts and rare footage, Wall Writers is the most indepth look at the origins of graffiti. No word on a release date yet, but keep up to date with the project via Facebook.
