After the success of Inception it seems that Joseph Gordon Levitt has willingly thrown himself into another time based – slightly confusing looking – thriller. Looper follows Levitt’s character in his career as a contract killer in the year 2042, executing gangland enemies and villains sent back from the future, but when one of his hits appears and is a little closer to home than he anticipated, he slips up, letting his future self (Bruce Willis) escape.
