Set in the Depression-era Franklin County, Virginia, a bootlegging gang is threatened by authorities who want a cut of their profits. With a stellar cast featuring Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Shia Lebouf & Guy Pearce – a screenplay penned by Nick Cave & John Hillcoat (The Road, The Proposition) on directing duties, Lawless looks to be a stunning piece of work.
