A few days ago we posted about a video from Squirrel Monkey in which the creators concocted a retro 80’s version of twitter. Well this time, its Alfred Hitchcock who’s in line for an 8 bit make over.
Artist Joe Spiotto has created his vision of what the boxes of Hitchcock films would resemble if they had been ported over to the Nintendo Entertainment System – for a cheeky shameless cash in. Speaking on the project Spiotto explains:
In the 80’s Nintendo was a dominant force to be reckoned with. Had Hitchcock been just a few years behind I’m almost certain that Nintendo would have jumped on the chance to make video-game adaptations of some of his most iconic films. I’m almost certain that their game boxes would have looked a little something like this
