New Blood // Camo & Krooked

Edgy, pulsating and exhilarating; this is exactly how drum and bass should be. Renowned Austrian producers Camo and Krooked have joined forces in a new project which looks like it’s going to re-write the rules again on how eclectic, inventive and universally admired electronic music can be. Their influences and experiences are in drum and bass but whilst tracks like ‘History of the Future’ and ‘Edge of Mind’ add big house sounds, ‘Turn Up The Music’ incorporates the best of minimal basslines and soaring vocals.

Currently on a tour of major venues across Europe, recognition is growing rapidly for these two have been known in Austria since 2002 and are now deservedly breaking in to the international market. To hear their tracks check out their the new ‘Edge of Mind ’ EP or their MySpace (link below) for the furious remix of Hadouken’s ‘Mic Check’. When they finally get round to playing a town near you, make sure not to miss out on pacey and explosive night but one which might change the minds of stubborn drum and bass purists as to how far this genre can evolve whilst sticking to its roots.
