MJ Cole & Wiley – From The Drop


MJ Cole has been at the helm of some of the most important UK dance records of the last decade, characterized by his distinctively delicate, expressive production style.

Following club banger ‘AO’, the Riddim EP, numerous remixes for Mad Decent, Primary 1, Drop The Lime et al and his production work with Example amongst others, Cole (“a man deeply committed to the search for emotive, smart and brave club music” – Dummy) will release ‘From The Drop’ with UK don Wiley on November 1st through his own Prolific Recordings.

The strobe-heavy video sees some clumsy young ladies spill dairy products all over themselves. Oops! The track manages to erase some of the hatred I built up for Wiley and Roll Deep over the last day or so after reviewing the Roll Deep album (its not good, at all; its awful), check out the video below.
