With festival season over, we look forward into the tracks that will soundtrack our Autumn months.
Belle & Sebastian return with their new album Write About Love on October 11th. The title track from the album has been made available as a teaser of what to expect, it’s upbeat, joyous and perfectly quaint.
The layered intro to San-Francisco based Weekend’s Coma Summer takes a whole two minutes before we’re introduced to the vocals alongside a distorted, pounding, feedback looped track. It’s gritty and unforgiving, taking your full attention throughout.
Take one part noise rock courtesy of Crystal Castles, sprinkle with more noise rock courtesy of No Age and you’re left with the jarring, thumping, disorientating but ultimately rewarding remix of the Canadian duo’s Baptism.
The Tallest Man On Earth continues to release great music with the immediate follow up to his last LP The Wild Hunt with the five track EP Sometimes The Blues Is Just A Passing Bird. Like The Wheel features Matsson’s distinct vocals complimented by his acoustic guitar.
