Meet KLAUS, (otherwise known as Jon Mills, formerly referred to as Klaus Says Buy The Record). Most recognised as the winner of the Red Stripe Award 2008 and for reaching the final stages of Channel 4′s Orange Unsigned Act in 2009. Since then the Brighton based singer songwriter has toured and performed with the likes of Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly. Jo Lean and the Jing Jang Jong, Dirty Pretty Things, Rolo Tomassi and Youth Movies. This time last year Klaus signed to Sheffield based indie label Small Town Records, and released his debut album ‘Lights Out’ on September 21st 2009. He is currently touring the UK to support his next single and his latest release, a covers EP featuring takes on songs by Rod Stewart, Fleetwood Mac, Wham and Beyonce which will be out in the next few weeks.
As part of the promo tour KLAUS will be performing in Lincoln on August 17th at ‘The Collective’ which takes place at Kind Bar every Tuesday. Entry is FREE and there are Half Price Drinks.
