So it looks like Summer could finally be upon us, what better way to celebrate than a look at some of the fresh new tracks around this week.
Toro Y Moi aka Chazwick Bundick is best known for producing a sound on a par with the likes of Neon Indian, Washed Out or Memory Cassettes. His new track ‘Leave Everywhere’ is a departure from this sound and a step towards a live band sound.

Spark is currently causing quite a storm supporting Marina & The Diamonds on her UK tour. ‘Shut Out The Moon’ is a brilliant piece of unadulterated pop music formed beautifully around the 18 year old’s perfectly crafted vocals and an electro-tinged track.
So The Black Keys’ latest album ‘Brothers’ dropped this week and delivered the goods as usual from the Ohio fellas. ‘Howlin’ For You’ is an upbeat number with a fuzzy bass beat and a selection of varied sounds. As usual Auerbach’s soulful vocals are complimented by some great arrangement.

Twin Sister are a New York based band who’s soft vocals and gentle compositions have already captured a place in my heart. ‘Daniel’ is an as yet unreleased track the band performed for Daytrotter this week alongside a bunch of other tracks taken from their both their debut EP and debut album.
