Music // Rachael Dadd

This isn’t the first time I’ve written about Rachael Dadd on Faux. Back in our hazy early days I focused in on her incredible side-project Whalebone Polly, a “gentle world of finger-picked guitar and vague percussion”. Rachael’s now ready to release solo material, the first taster of which is the wonderful ‘Table’. Created by her sister Betsy Dadd, the video for the track is a thoroughly enchanting stop-motion affair. It’s original, it’s a brilliant piece of work in it’s own right, and most importantly it’s a perfectly fitting accompaniment to Rachael’s material.

Currently on tour with Alessi’s Ark (dates below), Dadd’s mini-album Moth In The Motor is out now. You can download ‘Table’ for free here, and catch Dadd live at the dates below.
