Markus Georg – Postcards From Italy

If anyone asked you if you were able to recreate Stonehenge you’d think you’d have a rather large task in hand. However German photographer Markus Georg, took this job calmly in his stride, recreating not only Stonehenge, but the Eiffel Tower and Brandenburg Gate. Yet large pieces of rock and slabs of metal were not his material of choice, cardboard boxes, a washing line and pairs of trousers were. Armed with a couple of friends and these everyday household items, Georg imitated these landmarks and blasted them out into imaginative postcard sized photographs.
