Profile // The Decapitator

Ever walked around London and noticed something not quite right with a poster? Head missing maybe? Blood splatters and exposed bone in place of a head? Then you have witnessed the graffiti art of “The Decapitator”. This gorilla street artist has been chopping the heads off bodies featured in advertisements; from magazines to posters and atop billboards, he knows no limits. But how does he pick his victims?

“I look at them, they look at me… They’re begging for it. They want me to put them out of their misery, so I do it. I do it for them.” The Decapitator – Juxtapoz 2009
