Fringed Harmonies // #1

The fusion of music and fashion have seamlessly been sewn together for decades to create specific, original and imaginative themes, looks and aesthetics. In catwalk shows, music sets in stone the explicit, and oftentimes implicit, statements of the individual who would wear the clothes or the designer that creates them. Music helps tell the story of the character the clothes are aimed at, giving an insight into their personality. Fringed Harmonies ties into the ideas above as a weekly column showcasing the week’s best outfits from Lookbook.nu. What sets this column apart from other ‘best of’ ones, is that whilst it takes interesting fashion ideas from well styled individuals, it also includes a song for each separate outfit which I think fits the personality and look of each person featured.

So all I have to say now is look, listen, and enjoy.
